The Chef is responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Galley, ensuring quality food is served to crew and visitors in accordance to the menu plan and schedule.

Successful Candidates will need to have:

  • Proven experience in a commercial kitchen
  • Understanding of food cost & portion control
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • High level of customer service & a passion for food
  • Experience in day to day running of a kitchen/Galley
  • Maintain product quality, presentation, food safety and consistency
  • Demonstrated safe working practices mindset
  • Tolerance of others to work and live in a small environment for long periods of time

Qualifications Required:

  • Cert 3 Commercial Cookery & Food Handles/ Supervisors Certificate¬†
